Norman AV
( 18 items )
Norman is one of the world's leading companies within the field of data
security. With products for antivirus (virus control), personal
firewall, antispam, encryption, data recovery, and certified data
erasure.
Norman's PC security products can be installed on PCs, on file and
email servers, organisational gateways or any combination thereof.
Their ease of use and reliability makes them particularly well suited
for small-to-medium sized enterprises, where onsite technical skills
may not be readily available.
Norman's Sandbox Technology
Norman's anti-virus product, Virus Control is based on a unique
'Sandbox' technology, whereby any file that is accessed for the first
time is executed in a complete, virtual PC and its actions monitored.
This not only allows Virus Control to prevent malicious actions from
hitherto unknown malware, but also to figure out exactly what the
program would do if the machine were unprotected. With your
administrators' approval, the information gathered by Sandbox on a new
virus threat can then be sent to Norman's developers so that a updated
signature file can be prepared.
In conjunction with Norman NVC's Internet Update feature, Norman's
Sandbox technology ensures that Norman customers are always amongst the
first in the world to be fully protected from new virus threats.

Print Audit
( 2 items )
Based in Calgary, Canada, Print Audit specialises in the development of print tracking and copy auditing software. Founded in 1998, their products are now in use around the world and allow their customers to analyse, reduce and recover their printing and copying costs.
Unlike their competitors, Print Audit allows both local and LAN-based printing to be analysed. This flexibility is invaluable in organisations where local printers are being used (especially to generate chargeable output) and where customers do not wish to change their printing infrastructure to fit the analysis tool selected.
With a simple installation process, intuitive centralised administration and user interfaces and rock-solid security, it's no wonder that Print Audit is experiencing tremendous growth: sales have been virtually doubling every year since 1999.
